Life is not about getting to the destination, life is what happens to you on the way there.

Crossing the finish line

Now, I know I've won.

Got primo spot today again - this time, instead of NAP, it was NAP's Husband (NAPH) who showed up. I'm thinking they either babysit or watch their granddaughter a couple times a week - because the child with NAPH (and NAP on Tuesday) is CLEARLY not an immediate descendant of them by blood. (Aside from all that, everyone tells me they don't have any kids living with them)

A's mom didn't come to the stop, neither did A - however what looks like his sister and grandmother came.

They were watching me sit in my car which is fine with me, they can take a picture if they liked what they saw so much - I'll even pose and stick out my tongue for it.

NAPH (whom I've NEVER seen at the bus stop EVAAAR - FYI) and A's Grandma hung out behind my car - watching me. I stared into the rearview mirror and watched right back. They kept their kids seperate from the gaggle of 25 or so running around playing and escorted them to the bus themselves - which, given the circumstances, was a little bit on the dramatic side. Every kid lined up - got on the bus - and then NAPH and A's Grandma escort their two kids up, glancing at me the whole while like I'm going to jump out of my car and go BOOGA BOOGA!

Bah - the kids are helpless pawns in this. I hate when people do that. Kids are not levers for psychological games. Those kids are going to grow up just as twisted as those parents and that's just wrong. It's the way of the world I guess.... but I still think it's wrong.

Now that, it truly pathetic. People with no children spending time at the bus stop, one got banned for sticking their nose in where it clearly does not belong, so then they send the spouse to stand out there. And then stand behind your car? To get your license plate number? Not like you can't as easily back over them as you could run them over. Wonder what their warped take on the story is. How many more weeks of school is there?

Only one more week then it's summer break. It occurred to me why they do the school year like that - I think that they start early and get out early cause that's when our fall/winter is and it's cooler. It's already summer here - it's in the 90's already (THANK GOODNESS - I couldn't take the cold much longer).

Only a few more days left to do this which is why I don't mind doing the bus stop thing. Next year ought to be fun though - cause I'm going to go back there again. I'll still have two little ones using the stop and I'll bet she will attempt to go to the stop again. I just know she will.

I'm mulling over the idea of letting it drop by that time or re-complaining. I guess it will depend on my mood at that time and her actions. I'll likely let it slide though - that's just me...

Nah - I never vote. Many weeks ago I told DH that Carrie would win and Bo would place second. I'm looking forward to an I-told-you-so dance next week.... BOOOYAH!
