Life is not about getting to the destination, life is what happens to you on the way there.

As you can see, it's been a long time for me with watercolors. This isn't quite how I envisioned it - I forgot that you can't monkey too much with the watercolor while it's wet becasue it will turn muddy. I've cropped a muddy cloud off the right hand side.

Watercolors is one of the mediums that I've never been able to get a handle on. They seem to be so unpredictable. You make me want to try again. Your colors are beautiful. Cate

Not bad after all these years. I heard from my sister that water colors are very tricky. I would like to take lessons some day. I still have some of your art work in frames, although I havn't hung them up as yet... no walls available with a small house. Yes we did have your easel but you did not want it anymore so we donated it to the church when we moved. Joyce and Blair are coming today. My house is a disaster. Probably will be for many months. Bought some wall paper from Home Depot the other day.... borders. Gonna try my hand at that. Give the kids a hug from me and keep up the artsy stuff... you are very talented. (And that is not just your mother speaking.) Love Mom
