Life is not about getting to the destination, life is what happens to you on the way there.

Youngest is SEVEN! Where ever has the time gone?

Her pink poodle is named Sunset. She debated Tina, Veronica and Betty before settling on Sunset.

She dared herself to eat the lemon. It was especially tart she says.

Rorge? Rorge?

The staples are on the left in this photo - in her right armpit - you can barely see them. Very - um - hard to look at. Kind of Stephen King - esque.

OH MY! I was thinking she was only 6... wow... 7 already!Cute pictures. Did she enjoy making the poodle? He is very cute (or is the poodle a she?)I am still not done for Christmas. Have to bake cookies tonight and tomorrow. Poor little dixie. She is probably missing her pups too. Poor thing. She must need some cuddling. I was disappointed when I talked to your DH. He said the packages from Penny's have not arrived and that the mailed packages have not either. I sure hope you do get them soon. Got me a little worried. Your DH sounded in a rush, and he said that you were working, so I did not ask to speak with youngest. Maybe I will call everyone on Friday. Give them kisses from Grammy. Love MOM

She loved making the poodle - her face was all lit up. She had been begging to go for weeks before her birthday adn also wanted to buy other poodles directly fromt he store - I told her that if we bought a pre-stuffed poodle, she would not get build-a-bear adn she opted to wait. She wore that birthday girl crown for three days before her actual birthday. LOL! We did do a pink flamingo cake for her yesterday (her "pink minko take"!) and she loved it.

DH told me you called - but we've been so swamped I hadn't had time to call back. I will. We are watching for the packages probably Monday (today) or Tuesday. 3 to 5 business days means it could be right up until Thursday before they get here. I'm sure it will be fine.

Dixie is doing fine - she keeps trying to chew at the staples when I take the cone off so she has to wear it all the time. The cats are still hostile towards any dog that runs so I can't play with Dixie and the laser anymore. :( I'm giving the cats until 1 month after Fixing day to settle down. If they haven't settled down by then, I am re-homing them as much as I would hate to.

Did I miss something? Did the dog get nailed by the cats or did she have an operation?
