Testing out YouTube for home videos

This is Middlechild in the pool yesterday - I hope it's playable. It's a rather large movie - 6mb. Sorry in advance to dialup users.

I got off into a site that I don't think you want the kids on. couldn't get the video to run. Then double clicked and went to a horrible site. MOM

A single click plays the video - or starts to play it.

The video is 6mb - that means it will take a minimum of 30 minutes to download before it will play on your system - assuming you still ahve dial up - that's why the video wouldn't play.

A double click takes you to youtube.com and as with any free host, there's going to be some inappropriate content from other users. You can flag the content as offensive and it will be reviewed by the youtube.com team and removed if it is in bad taste.

I also have parental guideline software installed on their machines that will restrict access to the youtube.com website but won't block embedded flash players from playing my video clips. I think I'm pretty well covered.

I'm sorry you got to something bad via my site though.... The internet is a wild place huh?

Hi Honey... sorry I was so concerned. I should have known that you would protect it from the kidos seeing stuff like that. I actually have high speed at work and that is where I was trying to access it. I will try it again. Give those kids a hug from grandma. Love MOM
